The Peterborough Chase Restaurant

The Peterborough Chase Restaurant, positioned on the 1st Floor of the Grandstand, offers an unprecedented view of both the course and Parade Ring with the choice of 3 different menus to suit all tastes, thus guaranteeing a first class dining and racing experience. Tables can be reserved for the day and the package price includes Main Enclosure admission and a racecard as well as a 3-course luncheon for only £65 per person.  The restaurant also offers diners a private viewing balcony, tote betting facilities, televised live racing and a fully licensed bar. Such is the restaurants popularity that we definitely advice racegoers to book in advance!

Hurdles Bar and Bistro

Racegoers wishing to opt for a simpler menu should head for the Hurdles Bar and Bistro, where a variety of hot dishes are served throughout the course of the day, such as Roast of the Day and Chilli Con Carni as well as vegetarian options and a number of cold snacks.

Bar facilities

The main Grandstand also incorporates Bevan's Bar on its 1st floor, which, again boasting excellent views of the Racecourse and Parade Ring, makes a perfect base for the day.  The John Smiths Bar, situated on the ground floor of the Grandstand, and Gurneys Bar, positioned close to the parade ring, both offer a wide range of tasty bar snacks. The Champagne & Seafood Bar offers racegoers yet another eating and drinking alternative and is ideally positioned right next to the Parade Ring.  Gurneys bar is available for the use of Annual Members, Owners & Trainers only and has recently been refurbished to provide a light, welcoming atmosphere in a non-smoking environment.

On-course food outlets

There are a number of individual food outlets throughout the racecourse, such as The Traditional Pasty and Pie Company and Hog Roast, Burger and Organic Coffee kiosks.
